Nexstar is a member owner network of over 1000 members. Our goal is to help our members grow their businesses by providing classroom training, mentoring, online tools, and strategic partnerships.

The Big Task

Are you a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager with a passion for driving business success? Join our team as a Project Manager focused on business execution, where you'll spearhead projects that drive Nexstar towards its strategic objectives. You will work directly with people at all levels of the organization, in addition to leading project teams to ensure that initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently. As the linchpin between vision and realization, you'll collaborate closely with diverse teams and stakeholders, using your expertise to ensure seamless project execution and the achievement of our ambitious milestones. Key Tasks

• Project Leadership: Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions to ensure project success.
• Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and the executive leadership team.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and align with our business needs.
• Reporting: Provide comprehensive project documentation and regular reports to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.

Skills and Experience: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on business execution and strategic initiatives.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate and manage complexity.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• PMP certification is a plus.

Travel Requirements: 

• Minimal travel required. Up to 10%

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to set at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
